Friday:
- At NEHGS - Consultations with NEHGS experts: NEHGS will offer one-on-one consultations with staff genealogists. Space is limited! Additional fee applies. Click here for more information. A link to online registration will be included in your event confirmation email.
- Visit NEHGS: The NEHGS Research Library is only five blocks from the Sheraton. Visit from 9:00am – 5:00pm for free with your ticket confirmation. Orientations to the library and online databases will be held throughout the day. For more information about NEHGS collections click here. If you plan to visit the NEHGS Library, please RSVP by selecting the ticket option above.
- Optional evening reception and pre-registration at the Sheraton Boston Hotel from 6:00pm-7:30pm. Come and mingle with Ancestry.com and NEHGS staff and take advantage of pre-registration. Light refreshments and a cash bar will be provided. This is a free event. Space is limited for the evening reception - so please RSVP by selecting the ticket option above.

The Sheraton Boston is offering a discounted rate of $159 (plus tax) for the night of Friday, March 1st, for those guests traveling to the program. You must reserve by 5:00 pm EST on February 15th to receive this rate. Call 1-888-627-7054 and reference NEHGS when making your reservation or book online.
Parking:
Parking is available at the Sheraton Boston, the nearby Prudential Center (which is attached to the hotel and offers an early bird special of $19 for cars arriving between 6:00-9:00am and leaving between 3:00-6:00pm), the Boston Common Garage, and several lots and garages nearby. Or, park outside of Boston and take the MBTA.
Public Transportation:
Take the MBTA to the Hynes Convention Center or Prudential stations, both a short walk from the Sheraton.
Dining Options:
The Sheraton Boston is located in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood, home to hundreds of restaurants. The Sheraton is also connected by a walkway to the Prudential Center shopping mall, which has a food court and more than a dozen restaurants.
